Our Project
We
have created a user-friendly database for Elaine’s Flower Shoppe. Our
business expert, Kayla, worked at Elaine’s and noticed how inefficient
the shop was running regarding the storage of information, customers,
and orders. With that in mind, we came up with many ideas to make
Elaine’s florists able to easily navigate a system to find any sort of
information they are looking for about the shop.
We found it very important that florists can be able to look up past orders, organize information about weddings they are working on, and have easy access to customer and employee information. With our database, we have related a lot of this information so that employees can not only find everything more quickly and easily, but also to be able to be more knowledgeable about packages available, track high volume sales months, and see upcoming weddings. We believe that this database will make Elaine’s Flower Shoppe much more marketable by becoming more organized and “ahead of the game” with customer relationships.
